Â鶹¹ÙÍø West Scholars Participate in Communication, Strategy, and Teamwork Activities
Scholars at Â鶹¹ÙÍø West participated in a “Fall Jam” which included activities to facilitate communication, strategy, and teamwork. The event began with a birthday celebration for custodian Eric Cortez. Activities included a “mine” maze in which five students who were blindfolded needed to navigate through the maze with the help of their teammates. Â鶹¹ÙÍø West scholars utilized communication and vocabulary to successfully complete their mission. Next, scholars were given the task of playing a seated basketball game. Scholars were not allowed to stand from their seats. Scholars engaged in strategy and communication to accomplish their goal of scoring the most points.
