Learning about Matter with Root Beer Floats!
Mrs. Zwickel's class ended their Matter Unit with a delicious science activity. First they represented atoms in a solid, liquid, and a liquid with Cheerios, showing how the atoms are arranged differently in each state of matter. The culminating activity was creating a dessert that contained a solid, liquid, and a gas - a Root Beer Float! They labeled a picture to show the 3 states of matter in this sweet treat!
