Â鶹¹ÙÍø Senior Cosmetology Students Host Clinic Every Friday
Scholars in the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Cosmetology program host a clinic every Friday to earn certification hours. The clinic launched in December with a line of students out the door.
Cosmetology is one of 21 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, formerly known as vocational programs offered to high school students right at Â鶹¹ÙÍø. This pathway includes a three year sequence that includes Introduction to Cosmetology, Cosmetology I (and lab), and Cosmetology II (and lab). Students who complete the required coursework and certification hours and pass the NYS certification exams can receive a license upon high school graduation and turning 18 years old.
A list of services can be found here. Appointments and tips are appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome. The clinic is open from 7:30am - 10:30 (periods 1-4). Call 845-563-5557 extension 32120 to make an appointment.
