COVID-19 Testing Kits to Pre-K Students

Dear Pre-K students and families,
We hope this communication finds you well. The district recently received a supply of at-home COVID-19 testing kits. The limited supply does not allow for distribution to our entire student population. In an attempt to consider the children most at risk who are ineligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, the district will be distributing one test kit (contains two (2) at-home tests) to each NECSD Pre-K scholar on Thursday, December 23, 2021. These kits will be sent home in your child’s backpack. Directions are included on each test kit.

Estimados estudiantes y familias de Pre-K,
Esperamos que esta comunicación te encuentre bien. El distrito recibió recientemente un suministro de kits de prueba de COVID-19 en el hogar. La oferta limitada no permite la distribución a toda nuestra población estudiantil. En un intento por considerar a los niños en mayor riesgo que no son elegibles para recibir una vacuna COVID-19, el distrito distribuirá un kit de prueba (contiene dos (2) pruebas en el hogar) a cada estudiante de prekínder de la NECSD en Jueves, 23 de diciembre de 2021. Estos kits se enviarán a casa en la mochila de su hijo. Las instrucciones se incluyen en cada kit de prueba.
