Local Sorority Alumnae and SUNY Orange Host FAFSA Workshop
Since fall 2017, the Mid-Hudson Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in collaboration with SUNY Orange Financial Aid Director Mr. Maynard Schmidt and School Counselors at Â鶹¹ÙÍø have partnered to offer a FAFSA Completion Workshop for the parents of graduating seniors. This collaboration was inspired by a former parent and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. who found the FAFSA application process to be very challenging, so she opened the door to offer a workshop to help families make applying for financial aid easier. November 10th marked the fifth year of the annual workshop hosted at the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Main Campus.
