Â鶹¹ÙÍø Health Science Students Train Peers on Health Saving Techniques
Â鶹¹ÙÍø health science students have been busy training their peers and performing blood pressure screenings at Â鶹¹ÙÍø North and Newburgh Armory Scholars in Scrubs!
Seniors who are part of the Health Science Pathway are now trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), certified through the American Heart Association and certified BLS Instructor Linda Romano.
The pathway program hasÌýbeen conducting training clinics where the seniors are teaching faculty, staff, and students throughout Â鶹¹ÙÍø North.Ìý
This student lead project beganÌýat the start of the month and will continueÌýthroughout February. The students have a goal to train as many as possible to use and AED and hands only CPR.Ìý
