Â鶹¹ÙÍø Marching Band Performs for Purple Heart Ceremony
The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Marching Band performed at a Purple Heart Ceremony at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center last week. saluted their with a public Welcome Home Rally at the Armory.
Sergeant Major and Â鶹¹ÙÍø Alumna, Mary Kay Messenger from the West Point Army Band sang the National Anthem with accompaniment from the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Marching Band. The marching band also played a series of patriotic tunes as guests arrived. The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Marching Band was greeted by Mr. William Kaplan, Â鶹¹ÙÍø class of 1945.
The Â鶹¹ÙÍø Marching Band is directed by Ms. Kristina Martorano with assistance from Dr. Paul Carroll.
